Both probate and trust administration require court actions, which means you should use legal counsel to help you navigate from day one, but one of the main reasons for a trust is that it greatly reduces the friction at this point for you. Nonetheless, if you want to or must sell a property in either trust or probate, it can be done quickly. In the case of probate the proceeds from the sale will just remain in the probate account until probate is closed, but we can actually start working on the sale as soon as you are ready to do so.
